Automatic Semantic Unification of Disparate Information Models --------------------------------------------------------------

Greetings all,

I am working in the area of heterogeneous information systems, specificaly, I am trying to use iterative graph matching techniques to bring semantic unification (as defined in Enterprise Integration Modelling) to disparate information models. This work is being carried out in the context of an agent based intelligent information infrastructure - ADEPT, a UK DTI funded research project with BT, ICI, QMW, and Loughbourough U. You can find out more via my homepage (see URL below).

What I need now are some real information models to experiment with! By information model I mean any kind of model, from highly logical global ontologies, to simple database schema. The sort of thing that may be most suitable would a pair of ER models of the databases of some company, eg one from the purchasing department and one from the production department.

If you can supply me with two or more info models, with some overlap in what they are modelling, please get in touch. If you are interested to find out more about this work, or maybe you'd like to compare results, please don't hesitate to send me an email.

Thankyou for your time.
