INVITED SESSION
The organization of invited sessions is encouraged. Prospective organizers=
=20
are requested to send a session proposal (consisting of 4-5 invited papers,=
=20
the recommended session-chair and co-chair, as well as a short statement=20
describing the title and the purpose of the session) to the Program=20
Committee Chairman (dolgui@utt.fr). Invited sessions should preferably=20
start with a tutorial paper. The registration fee of the session organizer=
=20
will be waived, if at least 4 authors of invited papers register to the=20
conference.
Paper SUBMISSION
Prospective authors are requested to send a draft paper (maximum 8 pages)=20
for review by the Program Committee. All submissions must be written in=20
English, containing a succinct statement of the problem, new results, their=
=20
significance and a comparison with previous work.
The draft paper should be typed according to the instructions given on the=
=20
Multi-conference web site: http://acs.wi.ps.pl - Submission - file=20
authors_instructions.dot (single spacing and Times New Roman 10 font, one=20
column of A4 paper). All submissions should be in MS Word for Windows.
The submission should also include:
Topics
Type of paper (regular, poster, tutorial or invited)
Authors names, affiliations, addresses
Name of author to contact for correspondence
E-mail address and fax of contact author
Key-words (max. 5)
Please submit your draft paper to Prof. Oleg Zaikin by e-mail=20
(ozaikine@wi.ps.pl). Do not send hard copies of your paper. Receipt of=20
paper submissions will be confirmed by email.
Include a statement in your cover letter confirming that if the paper will=
=20
be accepted, one of the authors will attend the conference to present it.
Authors will be informed about paper acceptance by email after reviewing.
PUBLICATION
In order for a paper to be published in Proceedings volume with ISBN, the=20
following requirements must be met:
- the final paper must be correctly formatted and positively=
evaluated.
- the paper must be registered and fully paid for.
Attendance is mandatory to receive the Proceedings volume.
In addition, all presented at conference papers will be reviewed for the=20
book submission and these one that obtain the positive recommendation will=
=20
be published in a post conference volume by Kluwer Academic Publishers in=20
series of Applied Optimization (see: http://www.wkap.nl/prod/s/APOP). Some=
=20
International Journals will make also a selection of papers for publication.

PAYMENT
The registration fee of the Conference covering the costs of the Conference=
=20
Proceedings and the accommodation (hotel, food and social program) are=20
expected to be not exceeds 200 USD for East Europe participants, and 280=20
USD for other countries participants.
An author with more than one paper pays the additional paper(s) rates ($75=
=20
per an additional paper), unless a co-author has also registered and paid=20
the full registration fee.
LOCATION
The Conference will be held on 23-25 October, 2002, in Miedzyzdroje, Poland.
Miedzyzdroje is a famous Polish seaside resort called "The Pearl of=20
Baltic"' is situated between wide sandy beach with high cliff and the=20
forests of Wolinski National Park, where we find bison reserve.=20
Miedzyzdroje has a spa climate and is rich in tourist services.
The town is located between a wide beach with a high cliff coast and the=20
wooded stretches of the Wolinski National Park, The clean waters of the=20
Pomorska Bay, a favorable microclimate with therapeutic properties, wild=20
nature and beautiful landscapes attract several hundred people every year.
The offer for tourists is very rich, hotels, boarding houses, holiday=20
houses or rooms to rent can be chosen. There are also tent places and=20
bungalows. The network of catering business has been extended greatly=20
during the latest years, many small restaurants, snack-bars, caf=E9s,=20
fried-fish bars have been opened. Amusement grounds are opened in=20
summertime for children and on the Turkusowe lake a small ship makes=20
excursions.
