REDUX: An Overview

This report is a nonconfidential overview of the REDUX planning
technology being developed at MCC.  The purpose of this technology is
to manage change in the execution of large complex plans.  A simple
travel example is given to illustrate the kind of changes that can be
tracked and the utility to the user.  Comparison to other
technologies, the REDUX machine, and the future application to
distributed, cooperative planning are also briefly described.
